Worcestershire Apprenticeships

Worcestershire Apprenticeship Hub is a partnership of organisations working together to provide a coordinated approach to the development and delivery of Apprenticeships across Worcestershire and is here to support schools and their students with understanding Apprenticeships. The Hub’s aim is to

  • Raise aspirations and achievements of young people
  • Help them understand the world of work
  • Develop employability skills, CVs and Apprenticeship applications
  • Enable young people to make more informed career choices
  • Simplify apprenticeships and the application process

There are 6 fully funded opportunities for schools to engage with

  1. Apprenticeship Talks (years 7 – 13)
  2. Apprenticeship Workshops – CV writing and application support (years 11-13)
  3. Industry Visit Days (years 7-13) onsite or off site
  4. Mock Interview Days (years 11-13)
  5. Apprenticeship Career Shows (in school or by District)
  6. STEM workshops (hands on activity over 1 lesson)
